About the Columbus Campus
Ivy Tech Columbus serves the communities of Bartholomew, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, and Shelby counties with more than 30 academic programs in high-demand career areas, including aviation, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, business, education, healthcare, and information technology. With more than 9,000 students enrolled across its six-county service area, Ivy Tech Columbus prepares students to enter the workforce or continue their education at a four-year institution.
The recently opened Moravec Hall, the main Ivy Tech Columbus campus building located at the AirPark Columbus College Campus, provides state-of-the-art learning experiences in a modern higher-education facility built for the 21st century. It features simulation labs to help train students, including a full surgical operating room, a flight simulator, and an information technology data center. Students learn through hands-on experiences that mirror those of the careers for which they train.
Supporting Students
The Ivy Tech Foundation has established scholarships to support students who face unexpected issues or emergency situations. The scholarships are funded through gifts from thoughtful donors and can help students stay enrolled. Students who have received emergency aid scholarships have needed help getting their vehicle fixed, paying an unexpected bill, and other unforeseen circumstances. All donations to the student emergency aid fund ensure students can stay on track and continue working toward their academic and career goals. These barrier-busting dollars help our students make it across the graduation finish line and onto reaching their academic goals.
