About Ivy Tech Hamilton County Campus
In its commitment to meeting the diverse needs of Hamilton County, Ivy Tech Hamilton County (HamCo) stands as a beacon of educational opportunity and community enrichment. Beyond its remarkable growth and program offerings, HamCo fosters a sense of belonging and empowerment among its students.
Since its inception on July 1, 2021 as a full service campus, HamCo has been dedicated to serving the county's educational landscape. With enrollment consistently exceeding 20% year over year, our campus has become a vital hub for learners across Arcadia, Atlanta, Carmel, Cicero, Fishers, Noblesville, Sheridan, and Westfield.
Tailoring our offerings to meet high-demand career sectors, including healthcare, informtion technology, building construction, and business, HamCo offers 20 academic programs that prepare students for success in the workforce and beyond. With over 2,000 enrolled students and more than 4,000 high school dual credit students, our campus is a vibrant community of learners poised for excellence.
At HamCo, diversity is not just celebrated; it is embraced. Our student body represents a mosaic of backgrounds, with individuals from White, Black, Latino, Asian, and Multiracial communities contributing to our rich tapestry of experiences. We are committed to ensuring access to quality education for all.
Guided by commitment to prioritizing student success, HamCo integrates its programs with the dynamic requirements of our community. We cultivate strategic alliances with local stakeholders to propel career advancement and facilitate job placement. Collaborating closely with employers, we develop tailored training initiatives to meet pressing skill demands and stimulate economic prosperity.
For instance, Riverview Health stands as one of our esteemed partners. In a recent milestone, students enrolled in the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) program achieved an exceptional 87.5% pass rate on their exam. This accomplishment underscores the impact of our collaborative efforts with Riverview Health in advancing healthcare education.
Supporting Students and Supporting Hamilton County
Supporting Ivy Tech Hamilton County (HamCo) is an investment in the future of our community. Your generosity enables our campus to continue providing student-centered education, fostering career growth, and strengthening partnerships that empower students to succeed.
Operational support plays a huge role in alleviating financial constraints and creating a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and personally. The significance of this cannot be overstated, particularly for a small campus like ours. Limited resources often impede rapid growth and hinder our ability to respond effectively to student needs. Without adequate support, we face challenges in expanding programs and services, resulting in missed opportunities for student enrichment and development.
By raising $15,000 or more, our campus can direct funds to areas of greatest need, amplifying our impact and fostering the growth and success of our campus community. Your contribution will leave a lasting legacy, ensuring that future generations of students have access to the resources and support they need to achieve their dreams.
As part of the HamCo campus team, we are so excited to announce that we will be taking Ivy Tech Day on the road with a county-wide tour right here in Hamilton County. Our mascot, Boris the Wild Boar, will be making stops all over to engage with our amazing supporters and to attract those within our community who believe in our mission of providing accessible, high-quality education to all. We are thrilled to share this experience with you all!
"Our campus team and I are so grateful to everyone who participated in the inaugural Ivy Tech Day last year. We look forward to coming together again this year to have an even greater impact on our students and our community," said Dr. Rachel Kartz, Chancellor, Ivy Tech Hamilton County. "Our campus is doing amazing work to advance Indiana's fasted growing county through inclusive and student-centered education and training. Ivy Tech Day will help us continue making an impact in our community."
